My Name is Rigo Alcala' I have been shooting Photography for over 20 years as a hobby. As my Kids are getting older and more independent, I have found  more time to dedicate to the ART of Photography. I have joined the Racine camera Club to share my knowledge and experience with other Photographers as well as to learn from other Avid to Professional Photographers.

I have spent 1000's of hrs. Reading, researching, Testing and shooting PHOTOGRAPHY :)

The skills and perspectives I possess  have been self taught and/or gained through my own artistic abilities, seminars, on line education, 3 yrs. of Art Drawing and Painting , I'm  currently enrolled with the New York institute of Photography School.. I shot my first Wedding using film and slides back in the 1980's and developed and printed my own film and prints. I'm now Shooting all digital files using a state of the art FULL FRAME DIGITAL SLR NIKON Camera and NIKON Lenses to produce larger, cleaner and sharper Images of superb quality,  my Digital Darkroom and work flow is done using Apple Computers, Lightroom, Photoshop and onOne software.
